"Big Boy"

When Josh and I first started dating Braxton was just 16 months old. He was such a sweet chubby little baby that was all smiles! The past 3 1/2 years have flown by and its hard for me to picture that little baby anymore. He is now almost 5 and this little handsome man has girls chasing him constantly.

Last year we started making marks in his closet to measure his growth. We haven't done it since, but the other night Josh decided to and its amazing how much he has grown!!!

Brax, you are 42inches tall and weigh about 38 pounds. As you would say, "I'm BIG"

I love this picture bc you came in the kitchen and told me you wanted me to look at your muscles. I made you hold that pose until i could get my camera! :)

Daddy and I are so proud of the "Big Boy" you have become. You have a kind heart and you make people light up when they are around you! We love the fact that you are such a little organizer. The other day i went into the bathroom and saw where you had lined up all your toys (smallest to biggest) that were in the shower. Little things like that help keep daddy and me smiling when your not with us. :)

5 Months of Bliss

Happy 5 months Miss Ella! You are getting So big and are changing daily. Your sweet little personality is really starting to show :)

  You still eat 6oz every 4 hours. We have also started feeding you level 1 fruits and veggies. Banana's are by far your favorite. You are not to fond of veggies though. MeMe got you to eat some carrots, but every time I try you just gag



• You are really starting to hold onto things better and you love to pinch mommy :)

  You are getting so strong. You have rolled over a handfull of times and sit up all by yourself for about 5 seconds.

  People watching is your favorite past time. You are very inquisitive about everything and everybody :)

HighChair

When Ella was 7 weeks old we started putting cereal into her last bottle before bed. I know dr's don't recommend this, but it worked for us. Once we started the cereal in her bottle she started sleeping through the night. After she turned 4 months we tried feeding her cereal with a spoon and she would just gag. Since she was getting it in her bottle I wasn't to worried about that. She has now been eating fruits for the past 3 weeks and is finally getting the hang of it. Texture has been an issue with her like most babies. Her favorite is bananas, apples come in a close second. My mom tried carrots for the first time on Tuesday and she really like them. This baby loves to eat so i dont think im going to have a picky eater. :)

I normaly feed her in her bumbo seat, but yesterday we tried her highchair for the first time.

I cant believe she is big enough to sit in a highchair

I want time to SLOW DOWN!!!

Mother's Day 2011

My Mother's Day couldn't have been better. Ella got up around 7 and Josh got up with her so I could sleep in a little. We then went to church and after we got home, we hung out by the pool!

I want to say thank you to my mom for always loving me unconditionally! You are a great mom and a great MeMe! I love you so much and hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day

Not many people that are my age still have grandparents around. I'm so lucky to have my grandmother and the fact that she lives so close to me is even better! She truly is an amazing woman. She has been through so much and has stayed so strong both in her faith and in her life!

I also want to say thank you to my Mother in Law! She is a wonderful mother and Nana.! I'm pretty sure in Braxton's eye's Josh and I are number 2 and his Nana is number 1!

This Mother's Day was extra special bc of Ella! Thank you God for blessing me with a Beautiful baby girl!

I'm lucky bc I get to experience being both a step mom to Braxton and a mom to Ella.

And I love them both more than anything!

Fun, Great Food, Great Time

Last night Josh and I took Brax and Ella to the IC Carnival. We had such a great time watching Brax play and eating some really good Food!

When we first got there Braxton saw the Wall climb and immediately wanted to get in line for it. I honestly didn't think he would do it, but he did and LOVED it! He is growing up so fast and Turing into such a little dare devil.
