great weekend

I feel like i have had a mini vacation this past week. I left Thursday afternoon and headed to Tulsa with some sweet friends to go watch JT in concert. He was AMAZING and we had the best time!

Then on Saturday Josh and I headed back to Tulsa with Michael and Mary kate for some Christmas shopping.

And I just had to post this picture. After we got back from Tulsa I had promised Ella we would roast marsh mellows outside, but since it was so cold we decided to try inside.

I can't believe she is almost 3!!!!

Deer Camp

This past weekend we took the kids to Grandpa and Nana's cabin up by the Natural Dam area. We had the best time and made some wonderful memories!

Maybe next year we will kill a deer!

She's growing up

This sweet girl is growing up right before my eyes!

I thought the idea of only having one crib left in our house would make me happy... But last night seeing Ella in her big girl bed made me sad.

She slept in it all night and did not get up once. I'm so proud of her!
She is not my baby anymore ;(

7 months

Happy 7 months to you Ms Aly!!

What your up to:

You are crawling everywhere and are pulling up on everything! This makes me so nervous
You are eating 5, 6 to 7 oz bottles a day plus 3 meals. You love mommy's oatmeal ;)
You have started drinking out of a sippy cup
You wear some 9 month but mostly are in 12 month clothing
You had a rough patch of not sleeping but for the last 2 days or so you have gotten better! You go down around 7:30 and wake up at 5:30
Still no teeth, but you are showing every sign
You just adore playing with Ella. When we walk into her room in the morning you just light up! Her on the other hand not so much. She gets mad at you bc you can crawl and take her toys. Its so cute!
You do the same with brax when you see him walk into a room ;)
You are still not a fan of your car seat, but im hoping this will change soon.

Jessica Meinardus Photography came to our house to take family pictures. I'm in love with the ones I have seen so far and I cant wait to see the rest!

This sweet baby has started to crawl!! Poor Ella is having to hide her favorite toys now... It's cracking me up!

Brax and the Hogs

We had the best weekend with Brax! Weekends with him make everything complete ;)
On Saturday we headed up the hill to watch the Hogs play the Tigers. We got beat once again but that didn't stop us from having fun.

Halloween 2013

We had such a fun Halloween!
We started the morning off by taking the kids to tick or treat at Cooper and Hadley's great grandmother, Podgee's. They had a blast and got lots of candy! Thank you Mary Kate for inviting us!

We didnt have brax this year so I took this pic of him and Ella a couple of weeks ago ;)

Then we headed over to Nana's and Grandpa to trick or treat there

I'm already excited about next year, bc it will be our first time to take Brax tick or treating ;)
