For the last couple of weeks Braxton has been talking about going skiing. So Saturday we got the skies out and guess what??? He got up on his first try!!!

Both my mom and Josh's dad have the same birthday. So this past Sunday we got together with both to celebrate!

Girls Trip!

This past weekend me and three of my best friends from college all met up in Dallas for a weekend full of shopping and great food!

It was so nice to just get away and spend time with old friends. Saturday night we ate at this amazing sushi restaurant called STEEL. Hands down best sushi that i have ever had.

After dinner we headed over to a comedy club. This on the other hand was not that much fun. We were asked to not talk!! Are you kidding me?? What comedy club asks you to not speak and be quite... We only stayed for about 15 min

Sunday morning we got up and ate at this really good restaurant for brunch! I'm pretty sure it was called the bread house, but I could be wrong.

Right by our seats was this huge connect four game. We couldn't resist, lol

The rest of the day was filled with shopping, eating, and great conversations.

Grampa and Nana's house we go

Last night we headed over to Nana and Grampa's new house to have a little swim party. Tristan's Birthday is Saturday and since we will not have Brax this weekend, he wanted to give Tristan his gift last night.

Nana and Grampa recently just moved in to their new house. I forgot to take pictures of it, but it's absolutely BEAUTIFUL!

Tristan has been playing golf lately so we got him some golf balls and new golf shoes!

8 months old

My baby girl turned 8 months old on Sunday! How is this possible??

Ella, you truly are the best baby and we love you SO much!

What you have been up to:

* You are drinking 4 7oz bottles a day

* You eat a fruit at lunch and then eat fruit and veggie at dinner. You are also still getting a little bit of cereal in your night time bottle. Daddy and I will also feed you some things we eat. You love rice and Mash Potatoes

* We have been working hard on crawling but still no luck! Maybe next month :)

*You are starting to really like your sippy cup. Your not big on juice yet but you LOVE water

*You are definitely a mommy's girl which makes daddy jealous :)

What a blessing these past 8 months have been!

Big Girl Carseat and Swimming

Ella's Big Girl car seat finally came in and we love it! She was getting very uncomfortable riding in her old one and Mommy's arm was about to break from carring her in her carrier.

On a more exciting note, we got Brax last night!!! I swear on the weekends that we don't have him it makes that next Tuesday seem like forever since we have last seen him. We have missed him SO much! And of course the first thing he wanted to do was play some tennis and then go swimming :)

In these last two pictures Brax was making Daddy be a bull! It was hysterical!!

Kenny and Zac

This past weekend we went to Kansas City to see Kenny Chesney, Zac Brown Band, Billy Currington, and Uncle Kracker in concert! This has to rank as one of the best concerts that I have ever seen. And what makes it even better is that my brother was kind enough to fly us up there!! Thank you Michael!

We left Fort Smith Friday afternoon, checked into our hotel and then met up with some other people from the Fort for an amazing dinner at the Drunken Fish. There were 21 of us at dinner and the service was great and the food was wonderful! I highly recommend this restaurant if you are ever in Kansas City!



On Saturday went to the Plaza to do a little shopping and then ate lunch at Jack Stacks BBQ! (Best BBQ that I have ever had) After lunch we went back to the hotel to change and then headed over to the concert!

I can't wait to see both Zac Brown and Kenny again! Simply AMAZING!!!
