Aly's story

Josh and I checked into the hospital Tuesday morning at 5:30. When they checked me at the hospital I was dilated to a 2 and half and was about 80% thinned out. The nurse started me on a really low dose of potocin and then I got my epidural.
I'm pretty sure I was driving the nurses crazy over this! The pain never got to bad before the epidural (aka, Gods miracle drug) I just started to get uncomfortable. Dr Woods came in around 8:15 to break my water and then we just waited for on Miss Aly :)
Thank you Mary Kate for capturing all of these precious moments while we waited!

Ella was really unsure of what was going on. She would not get near me that whole day. I don't think she liked seeing me hooked up to all the machines. Brax on the other hand did great!!

All morning the nurses kept having me flip from side to side bc Aly's heart rate would drop a little after each contraction. This made me a so nervous but I knew they were watching it and that I was in the best hands. Finally a little before 2 I was ready to push. I had Josh, my mom, and Mary Kate stay in the room to see Miss Aly make her arrival. I pushed for about 45 min and she was born at 2:44 pm weighing 7 pds 11oz and 21 inches long. JUST BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

I have so many more pics to post so get ready ;)
I want to thank all our friends and family for all the prayers, calls, text, and gifts!
I also want to thank Nana and TT for all your help with Brax and Ella while we were in the hospital. You guys are the best!!
