Ella's Ultrasound

Ella had her ultrasound on her head this morning. She did so good, even the ultrasound tech couldnt believe how good she was. We got great news, everything is perfect! It's just a tad bit flat bc of her favoring that side. I was worried for nothing! Deep down I knew I was just being an over concerend "new mom" but I needed some assurance and I got it!

And of course I cant post something without a picture. This picture was taken at Braxton's soccer game last Saturday. Neither one of them would look at the camera for me

Josh and I are leaving for our Vegas trip tomorrow morning. I'm excited but a little sad at the sametime. I've never been away from Ella more than one night. I know she is in great hands with her Nana so that helps a little...

Thank you Nana and Grandpa for watching Ella!!!

Maybe Josh and I will hit the Jackpot! Wish us luck!

Rollie Pollie

We finally have a Roller!!! For last couple of nights Ella has been on the verge of rolling over. She would get so close and then just give up. But last night she finally did!!!

What makes it even more special is that her big brother was there to see it :)

I just had to share these pictures of Ella's friends all dressed up for Easter! This is Mr Nash and Miss Kly Bella. We miss them and hope to see them soon!

Easter Part 2

After brunch we headed over to Nana and Gradpa's house. I'm SO mad at myself for not getting a picture of them with all 4 grand kids!

Since the weather was yucky, Nana planned an Easter Egg hunt inside. The kids had a great time and I think the adults had just as much fun watching them run crazy looking for Eggs.

Easter Part 1

Easter morning Miss Ella decided to wake up at 6:15. I swear on weekdays she will sleep until 7-7:30, but it never fails on weekends it 6:30 like clockwork! Brax slept until 7:00. It was funny bc he totally forgot about the easter bunny coming until I reminded him he should go look and see if he came!

HE DID!

Brax got a basketball for the pool and some pool toys. Tons of candy and some books!
Ella got a book, bathtub toys, bibs, and some teething rings

Easter Eggs

We had such a great family weekend! We started the Easter festivities off by dying Easter Eggs Saturday night! Watching Brax dying the eggs made me think of how much fun I used to have when I was little doing the same thing!

Another First!

This past weekend Ella ate cereal for the first time! She was not a big fan :(

Josh only got about 2 bites in her mouth bc she kept gagging! She was cracking me up. I'm sure once she gets over the texture thing she will Love it! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Braxton Had his 2nd Soccer game this past Thursday! He did SO good!! He is going to be our little Athlete for sure!

Dr's Visit

We just got back from Ella's 4 month dr's appt. The Dr said she is doing great! She was in the 90 percentile in weight and 60 percentile in height. Poor baby screamed when she got her shots today. It breaks my heart to see her cry real tears...

When Ella sleeps she is constantly laying on one side which has caused that side of her head to be a little flat. Her dr told me to switch her on the other end of her crib and that might make her want to lay on her left side more. Bc of all this he wants her to have an ultrasound just to make sure that everything is fusing together okay. (Which he said he is almost 100% it is, he just is very cautious)

Weight: 15lb 8oz

this shocked me bc i thought she was going to weigh more :)

4 months old!!!

My sweet baby girl is 4 months old today! She is PERFECT in every way... It still amazes me how much you can love one person. I'm so thankful that God chose me to be her mother!!!

Wonderful Weekend

This past weekend was beautiful and HOT! I can't believe its April and it got up in the 90's. Brax has been wanting to go fishing so after his soccer game we went and got bait and then headed out to our pond. He caught 2 brim and had a catfish but it broke his line :(
